Climeon secures growth capital
Climeon AB recently concluded a new issue delivering up to 55 MSEK in a cash-injection into the company. This far exceeded the initial targets of 20 MSEK and will radically improve the financial stability and credibility going forward.
– One of the key risks in any start-up is the possibility to face a cash-shortage, with this new issue we have radically reduced that risk says Climeon CFO / COO David Ekberg. This cash injection, together with positive contributions from business, grants and partnerships is likely to help us into a state where the company is self sustaining from a cash perspective. Having such a successful new issue allows us to focus even more on growth, profitability and customer success.
In the new issue more than 170 private persons and companies invested, thus significantly strengthening the Climeon investor team.
– One of our founding strategies has been to have a strong investor network and utilise it for the success of the company, says Climeon CEO Thomas Öström. This time we are adding some really strong and highly experienced business- and thought-leaders from around the world, further strengthening our competitive edge.
